The Golden State Warriors have selected Will Richard with the No. 56 pick in the 2025 NBA draft. The Warriors traded up from No. 59 to select the Florida Gator wing.

Richard was the last of three Gators to hear their name called in the draft. Star point guard Walter Clayton went No. 18 overall to the Jazz, and Alijah Martin was taken No. 39 overall by the Raptors. The two-guard will compete for minutes with Brandin Podziemski, Moses Moody, Buddy Hield and possibly Gary Payton II.

Before closing out the second round, the Warriors traded up to the No. 56 pick to select Florida national champ Will Richard.
