A man was killed in a North Sacramento shooting early Sunday morning, Sacramento Police said. The shooting happened around 4 a.m. near Mahogany Street and North Avenue. Police said officers arrived at the scene and found a man who had been shot at least once.

Sacramento police are investigating the death of a man whose body was discovered Saturday evening near a levee close to the 50 block of Main Avenue. The man had been shot at least one time and “information we have leads us to believe this was a suicide,” said Officer Anthony Gamble, a Sacramento Police Department spokesperson.
