The Toronto Maple Leafs scored a short-handed goal vs. the Colorado Avalanche after the puck hit referee Kelly Sutherland.

With the game tied early in the third period, Maple Leafs forward Steven Lorentz scored a shorthanded goal after Avalanche defenseman Simon Benoit’s clearing attempt hit Sutherland and landed right in Lorentz’s path. "I'll take that bounce," Lorentz said after the game.
