Friends and The Morning Show actress Jennifer Aniston has signed on to star in Apple TV+'s adaptation of Jennette McCurdy's best-selling 2022 memoir, I'm Glad My Mom Died.

The star and executive producer of The Morning Show will lead a series inspired by Jennette McCurdy ’s memoir I’m Glad My Mom Died at the streamer. McCurdy is adapting her book alongside Ari Katcher ( Ramy, Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show ), and the two will serve as co-showrunners. Aniston is also an executive producer.

Aniston stars as Alex Levy on “The Morning Show” and is also one of that show’s producers. The series, whose fourth season launches on September 17, is based on a nonfiction book “Top of the Morning” by CNN chief media analyst, Brian Stelter.
