State and federal prosecutors have charged more than 320 people in the largest coordinated takedown of health care fraud schemes in Justice Department history that uncovered nearly $15 billion in false claims.

Demitrious Gilmore, 46, of Lubbock, was connected to a large health care fraud takedown and accused of submitting $19 million worth of false medical claims, the U.S. Attorney’s Office announced on Monday.

The Justice Department announced its 2025 National Health Care Fraud Takedown, including 96 medical professionals nationwide for alleged involvement, totaling over $14.6 billion in losses.
