Scheffler and Jordan Spieth will look to capitalize after solid opening rounds at the Charles Schwab Challenge.

With the PGA Tour at Colonial in Fort Worth, Texas, this week, the timing couldn't have been better for Scottie Scheffler, a noted fan of Dallas sports teams. Less than an hour away, the Stars had Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals on the slate for Wednesday evening.

Scottie Scheffler is skipping some of his usual prep work for the Charles Schwab Challenge at Colonial after winning the PGA Championship last weekend.

Scheffler proved he can win a major outside of Augusta with his resounding PGA Championship victory. However, he didn't have the best go of things when he last teed off at this major. Scheffler finished 41st at the 2024 U.S. Open, which is his worst finish at any tournament over the last two-and-a-half years.

The humble home is the golfer's haven when he's not on the PGA tour, and it's near one of his favorite fast food restaurants.

“Lost in the shuffle of Scottie Scheffler winning the PGA Championship, I failed to post this moment of Bennett Scheffler standing for the first time (I think),” posted Spectrum News 1's Mike Solarte. “Mom's reaction is so pure. Just adorable.”
