Neeraj Chopra achieved a personal best of 90.23 meters in the men's javelin throw, exceeding 90 meters for the first time. However, he secured second place, finishing behind Germany's Julian Weber in a closely contested competition.

Neeraj said it lifted the burden off the shoulders of millions of Indians, including those who doubted whether he would ever be able to breach the 90m mark.
