Hyundai Motor President José Muñoz has drawn a line, stating that the company has no plans to raise car prices in the U.S. in response to President Donald Trump's 25% tariff on imported vehicles. Muñoz made this statement during a media day event at the 2025 Seoul Mobility Show in South Korea.

Hyundai Motor, a South Korean conglomerate known for its automobiles, will invest $21 billion to expand manufacturing in the United States in what President Trump said was proof that his tariff policies were creating jobs.
