Cowboys are signing former Ravens cornerback Christian Matthew, per Drew Rosenhaus and Robert Bailey. From Valdosta State, Matthew was selected in the seventh-round of the 2022 draft by the Arizona Cardinals. He appeared in 20 games his first two seasons (14 as a rookie), but spent last season on injured reserve with the Ravens.
Dallas Cowboys cornerback Caelen Carson will be out of action due to an injury he suffered during training camp. Per Todd Archer of ESPN, Carson suffered a hyperextended knee on Sunday and will be out for four to six weeks.
